I was born and live in the Teeside area of England, the same area that inspired Ridley Scott's visions of Blade Runner's Industrial Landscape seen at the beginning of that film.I've always been interested in art and movie making, and grew up in the 70's watching shows on TV like Star Trek,Space 1999,Captain Scarlet and Doctor Who. Like most people of my generation 1977 and the release of Star Wars only fuelled my interest in all things S/F and Fantastic. My Non artistic jobs still revolved around films, helping and working in Video Stores, working at a local cinema for 12 years, being a Projectionist/Technician for most of that time. I then moved into working in the Computer Games Industry for a local firm for 4 years and then onto an animation/CG Studio. I now work freelance, one of my most recent jobs being the creation of the main spaceship for BBC TV's Sci-Fi Comedy show Hyperdrive, I also created 4 other ships for this show. Some of my ispirations over the years have been Ron Cobb, Andrew Probert, William Stout, Syd Mead, Frank Frazetta, Martin Bower, Mat Irvine, also the guys at ILM and WETA who create such amazing work in both miniature and CG.Visit my blog: http://glazy.blogspot.com/
